Henry is an attorney at Gauthier Murphy & Houghtaling whose practice focuses on insurance recovery for commercial policyholders.

Henry advises policyholders across a wide range of industries, and his current and past clients include hotels, property management companies, retail stores, restaurants, medical facilities, and churches. Henry’s practice has allowed him to represent policyholders across the country, including in Louisiana, Texas, New York, California, Florida, Arizona, New Jersey, Massachusetts, Iowa, Rhode Island, Nevada, Colorado, and Connecticut. Henry’s representation has resulted in over $50 million recovered for aggrieved policyholders. In addition to property damage claims, Henry also handles the firm’s business interruption claims related to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Henry brings extensive knowledge of insurance policies, coverage, and interpretation to Gauthier Murphy & Houghtaling. Prior to joining the firm, Henry spent several years representing homeowners, businesses, and condominium associations in National Flood Insurance Program (NFIP) cases in federal courts throughout the Gulf South. Henry uses his litigation and trial experience to develop efficient strategies for resolving his clients’ insurance claims.

Henry obtained his Juris Doctor from Loyola New Orleans College of Law. Prior to law school, Henry graduated from Tulane University and worked as a teacher and coach at Strake Jesuit College Preparatory in Houston, Texas as part of the school’s Alumni Service Corps program.

In his free time, Henry enjoys traveling with his wife, Ava, watching baseball, and spending time with his two dogs, Oliver and Lily.
