Mr. Sloan joined the firm in 2018 and litigates in the areas of products liability, serious personal injuries, automobile accidents, premises liability, and property damage claims from major disasters. He worked previously for several years as a litigator on the defense side in everything from products liability and auto accidents to food defect and toxic tort personal injury matters. Mr. Sloan has traveled across the country assisting in trials and has certificates of completion for deposition and trial skills programs through the National Institute for Trial Advocacy.
Mr. Sloan obtained his undergraduate degree from Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia and his law degree from Tulane University Law School where he graduated cum laude. Mr. Sloan began his legal career with a clerkship with Judge Christopher Bruno at the Civil District Court in Orleans Parish and has since practiced in state courts throughout Louisiana, and in all Louisiana federal courts, including the United States Court of Appeal for the Fifth Circuit. Kevin lives in Uptown New Orleans with his wife, Brittany, their Goldendoodle, and two cats that he wishes were dogs.
